New UR-GE Initiative from Mobiliyum

Among the UR-GE projects presented to the Ministry of Commerce, Mobiliyum AVM, which was selected as the “Best Practice Project” in 2018 and received 75% grant support, has launched the 5th UR-GE program for new supports. In this context, the first meeting regarding the “5th International Competitiveness Development Program” was held with the participation of 23 member companies of Mobiliyum.

Mobiliyum Coordinator Aysun Sanatçı stated the following during the meeting:

“Since 2015, we have been conducting UR-GE projects, and in 2018 we were awarded the 'Best Practice Project' by the Ministry of Commerce. We have received approval for our new project named '5th UR-GE Mobiliyum Power Union'. So far, we have successfully completed and closed 2 of our UR-GE projects, and we are currently running 3 active UR-GE projects. With these projects, we are working to increase the export share of a total of 100 of our companies. A grant support of 8.7 million dollars has been made available for our active projects. Within this budget, we aim to increase the awareness of Mobiliyum AVM and grow the export volume of our members by bringing buyers from target markets like Morocco, Uzbekistan, and Kazakhstan.”

Sanatçı noted that they are the institution receiving the highest financial support from state-sponsored export incentives in Turkey, and said, “Our roadmap will become clearer when the needs analysis of our 5th UR-GE is completed.” She also emphasized that institutional supports are provided during the clustering process and that the years 2022 and 2023 have been entirely dedicated to exports in the 3-year project plan. Sanatçı stated that work is ongoing regarding target countries and added that they would announce these countries soon.

During the continuation of the meeting, Expert Nilay Durukan provided detailed information about UR-GE activities and the analyses of the 23 companies.

This new step by Mobiliyum to enhance its export and international competitiveness continues to offer significant opportunities for firms in the sector.
